Northshore Home Educators Assocation

NHEA is a non-profit association of local Christian homeschooling families like-minded in our Statement of Faith, Family, and Education, joining together for fellowship, encouragement, and enrichment.  We are located on the northshore of Lake Ponchartrain in south Louisiana. 

NHEA offers a variety of opportunites for members:  Co-op, P/E, 4-H, Choir, Speech and Debate, Drama, field trips, Spelling Bee, MEGA Fest (geography, science, and art fair), Student Council, Field Day, Stanford Achievement Testing, professionally published yearbook, graduation for K, 8th, and Seniors, and support groups for moms.
