NHEA Documents

NHEA is a Christian home-education support group that is affiliated with Christian Home Educators Fellowship (CHEF) of Louisiana and serves families on the Northshore.  We believe that raising and training our children is one of the most important responsibilities we have as parents.  In addition, we also believe that homeschooling provides one of the best forums not only for educating our children but for training up our children to be firmly established in their knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior, enjoy a meaningful relationship with Him, and exhibit high moral character as they relate to others.  Our beliefs are summed up in our Statement of Faith which each member is asked to sign in agreement.  Below you will find our Statement of Faith as well as our Constitution and Bylaws and the Peacemaker’s Pledge.   NHEA does not function as a school or a church, but rather it offers invaluable support to homeschooling families through annual events, field trips, co-op, PE, athletics, clubs, and encouragement to moms.

Our annual events include:  Kick-Off, Family Picnic, NFL Saints Camp, Senior Ring Ceremony, Family Camp Out, Spelling Bee, Curriculum Review Night, MegaFest, Field Day, Achievement Testing, Graduation, and Used Book Sale.

Our clubs include: Choir, Yearbook, Student Council, Drama, Speech & Debate, and 4-H.
