NHEA 2025-2026 Membership Registration will be open on June 1st. This link is only for NEW members. If you are renewing your previous membership then please Log In; you'll be directed to update your profile and pay your fee. The membership fee is $55 per family for the school year for June 1st 2025 through May 31st 2026. Teen membership (under a family membership) is FREE.

Intent To Homeschool: I will abide by the State of Louisiana's definition of homeschooling by sending a letter to the registrar as a Nonpublic School (Not Seeking State Approval) in accordance with R.S. 17:232 (C) and (D) or by applying for the BESE Approved Home Study Program. The NHEA Board reserves the right to request a copy of your approval letter. You understand that if this approval letter is not submitted upon request, your NHEA account may be parked, which means a loss of access to the website until it is received.
